The Hero’s legendary sword and shield, brought to life via Lego bricks! Featuring:

  • a studded-and-studless mixed design with accurate colors and styling to represent the Hero’s sword and shield across the series
  • all decorative emblems and the all-important sacred power symbol on the front side of the shield
  • a brick-built strap and handle on the back side, just like the real shield
  • an elegant combined display stand has been designed to showcase both sword and shield in all their glory, including a inset sacred power symbol in the base

Focus was given to the accuracy, strength and display-ability of the model, although portions of the model may be connected in limited ways, so it is best to be simply displayed versus played with. The product includes a full-color, encrypted PDF of the digital model and importable XML parts list (in txt format). Instructions only; no physical bricks are included, but can be acquired from LEGO directly or other sources such as bricklink.com or similar. No stickers are included; any renders that contain decals or other non-printed brick pieces are simply for design modeling purposes are are not included with the design files.

Updates

Version 4

This version revises the connection of the shield support to increase strength and address situations where older parts may become less secure over time and disconnect. Additional changes were made to the shield to address instruction order-of-operation issues where certain parts would not have something to connect with until later in the instruction set. A replacement of a 2 x 2 Jumper Tile with a 1 x 2 Jumper Tile for the top red ‘wings’ was made to ensure proper connect-ability. Finally, some part replacements were also made in the shield to further strengthen connections – these changes were not all captured in a change log and are interspersed across various steps.

Version 3

This version strengthens the sword and shield display stands and slightly strengthens the front face of the shield itself. The downloadable file also now contains two parts files – an XLS and XML export for ease of uploading/importing/tracking. Coming soon is an alternate handle design that will both improve the look and address scarcity of the many Dark Green 1 x 2 Macaroni pieces that are now very hard to come by. Sword Stand

  • Replaces (8) Slope 18 2 x 1 x 2/3 with Grill (61409), (2) Plate 1 x 4 (3710) and (1) Brick 2 x 4 (3001) with the following pieces on steps 24 and 25
    • (2) Slope, Curved 2 x 4 x 1 1/3 with Recessed Studs (6081) in Black (note: can be substituted with (8) Slope, Curved 2 x 1 x 1 1/3 with Recessed Stud (6091) as needed)
