Ultimate BTTF Delorean

Description

In the Back to the Future franchise, the DeLorean Time Machine is a time travel vehicle constructed from a retrofitted DMC DeLorean. Its time travel ability is derived from the “flux capacitor”, a component that allows the car to travel to the past or future (though not through space). This occurs when the car accelerates to 88 miles per hour and requires 1.21 gigawatts of electricity. This vehicle is such an iconic piece of American film history and scifi culture that in 2021, the Delorean Time Machine was added to the Library of Congress’s National Historic Vehicle Register.

Featuring:

• fully modular, with removable chassis, engine, spare tire, body, pedals, seats, doors, hood and version-related accessories (Hook, Mr. Fusion, and Hood Box)
• fully detailed interior and exterior including reclining bucket seats, adjustable steering wheel, windshield wipers, door panels w/interior and exterior handles, exterior exhaust pipes
• accurate chassis with double ‘wishbone’ design and embedded fuel tank, including adjustable/folding wheels for flying mode using the same chassis without any rubber bands
• accurate proportions and modeling to that of the ‘real’ car; no unsightly gaps between the windshield and roof, accurate negative wheel camber, proportional detailed hood box (BTTF3) and Mr. Fusion (BTTF2), hoses, and rear light configuration
• nearly-studless design
• built to LEGO design standards using standard connections and parts placement to ensure a strong model perfect for display
• utilizes only currently-available color pieces

Focus was given to accuracy, strength and playability, and with quick-to-market and available colors. The product includes a full-color encrypted PDF of the digital model and importable XML parts list (in txt format). Instructions only; no physical bricks are included, but can be acquired from LEGO directly or other sources such as bricklink.com or similar. No stickers are included; any renders that contain decals or other non-printed brick pieces are simply for design modeling purposes and are not included with the design files.
